Half screen?????

I have a problem requiring your expertise. It goes like this.
I am running ghost recon on my P4 2.8, asus P4C800, Asus 9200 SE 128MB video card all running on a Samsung 191T + Monitor.

It used to run fine, Now I start up and only get the top half of the monitor screen to show video. The bottom half remains black. The only other game installed is Grand Theft Auto III and it runs fine. Every thing else runs fine.

Any suggestions?? I have uninstalled and reinstalled Ghost recon about 3 time. Installed direct X 9 and reinstalled video drivers.

Did you fully update the game with all patches?

When I did that previously(when the game was in my old computer) It would not play correctly. I don't play online so it didn't need the patches!! It ran fine on this machine for a couple of weeks and the all of a sudden.....

So you tried the patches AGAIN? I just wanted you to try them again to see if maybe they felt like working this time. You don't have any problems in your device manager, do you? What resolutions and frequency's are u running? Maybe the monitor can't handle them, have you tried a differ monitor or differ video card?

No I didn't try them again. I did it twice before and had problems and had to remove them.
I'm running at 1280X1024, it's a 19" Samsung LCD monitor 2 months old!!
