yay i got it, but i was studying for finals while it took 5 hours for me to get on, so im not upset.

i have an fx 5600 and even on low quality graphics its still pretty cool.

I like how you can go prone and use the sniper rifle in the bushes to cap someone a mile away. One guy was in a boat and I sniped him in the head. Ouch. Graphics are good. I would like to see what they look like with an XT but they are good on my 4200. It seems pretty cool. I recommend everyone should try it out, I might buy it.

what level do you have your graphics set on? high? medium? low? very high? and does it lag?

Seems like halo in some ways, except you can be more sneaky. I like how enemies hide and run around objects in circles and stuff. It wouldnt let me map the side buttons on my mouse though, so i had a hard time with teh controls.

I have the graphics all on medium and have upped the environment graphics to very high and water quality to high. No lag here. Maybe I should up a few categories.

as far as i know, i don't have the beta. i went through the link at the top of this thread to get it. that blows ut04is backdated. march 17.??? i was talking to a friend, it my bad, there is 13 check points not stages.

Mine only has about 7 or 8 stages. Otherwise, I thought it was pretty good...definitely better than CoD. As expected, it ate my hunk of junk computer for lunch. If they can produce a good netcode, large MP maps, and plenty of vehicles like BF42 then I'm sold.

After reading some on other forums it seems that the number of check points will vary because there are numerous ways to complete the objective.

Those are definately not stages! Don't confuse me like that... they are just checkpoints. I thought I was missing 90% of the demo!

Lol, Dragon, sorry about that. I didn’t mean to start a panic attack. To me it stages and levels. While playing if you get killed you go back to last complete stage (checkpoint) and finished all the stages (checkpoints) moved to next level (stage). I will work on my terminology. Hope you laugh when reading this: not meaning to sound like a smort*ss

No problem Dave. Back years ago, levels were comprised of stages, so you are correct (Ex. Winter Level, Stage 1 Stage 2 etc). But now levels and stages are interchangable and checkpoints are used mostly by everyone. That's why I was confused when you said you beat all 13 stages. I don't hear ppl say that they beat all checkpoints (unless it's a racing game).

Ok, I am probably confusing you as much as I'm confusing myself so I'll stop. But I will say that the demo was released in Jan but the game isn't expected until March! What's up with that?
