Lots of bugginess in Battlefield 1942 Desert Combat

Hey,

Whenever I play practically any desert combat level my screen turns into a bunch of artifacts and the ground will disappear whenever I move. The only place it doesn't do it much is on the Lost city level. Is anyone else having this problem? Thanks. I think I have the latest desert combat patch, unless they've changed it in this last week. If they had changed it, shouldn't it not let me online until I had upgraded?

There haven't been any new patches. Try one of the forums listed at www.desertcombat.com and see if you can't find something similar in the support sections.

It's not the graphics card I dont think, and I'm pretty sure it's in all the way. I've never had this problem with any other game, including the original battlefield. Call of Duty runs fine, so does GTA vice city. It's only when I play the desert combat mod that things get weird. But like I said, whenever I play the original battlefield, or any of the road to rome levels, it's fine--I only play multiplayer if that makes a difference. Anyone know what the problem could be? Thanks.
