probs with cs,other steam games

K the game runs fine but when I go to minimize it to turn off music or whatever it wont restore. when i bring it back up I can hear the sound but the screen is just black so I have to close it and reopen the game. also when I am doing this i hear a constant very quit beep which also happens when I am using my mousewheel (the last part is prob some setting I have that I dont know about).

it sounds like your vidoe card but i could be wrong also check your ram coudl be that too.

I was having this problem before and changing it to d3d fixed it but this time it was in d3d...... I doubt it is hardware related cause my video card is a week old and my ram is a month old. all my other games work fine.

does it do it to all the other games? or just the one?

it does it in dod and cs(those are the only steam games I play) it doens't happen in bf1942 or anyother games which makes me think it is a setting.

hm, it might be the display settings in the game. try and change the settings that might work.
