ATI 4.2 Drivers are out! (and Omega Drivers)

Head on over to ati.com or the omega corner, and get the new 4.2 drivers for ATI cards!

I can't get a pic playing DVD's with the new driver and the ATI DVD player (ver 7.6).... really need to get the upgrade to 8.x, mebbe that will cure the prob.

Well... I don't know if it's an issue with the driver, or the fact that I'm still using version 7.6 of the DVD player. To upgrade the DVD, I need to purchase a new CD from ATI to get rights to the new DVD codec licensing. Without the DVD player installed, I get DVD playback on Media Player 9 just fine, but with the ver 7.6 installed, it kills DVD playback on both 7.6 and Media player... everything works fine with the Catalyst 4.1's... so it appears to be an incompatability issue with the Catalyst 4.2's and DVD 7.6.

oh...then in that case it probably just is the fact you are using an old ati dvd player.

Ya... it's looking more and more that way... I have the same prob with just the 4.2's and the 7.6 (No MMC) installed.
