Didn't see the message until today. Was playing CS on random internet sites but quit because of the cheating-- I'd like to play on a server where cheating will not be an issue.
Anyone playing today? I can set up a server if anyone wants to play a few rounds-- I'm a newbie at CS so I should be an easy mark. |

I'll play, and I know Floppyman might be interested! I'll post a server this afternoon after church. If someone beats me to it I'll just join theirs!

Sounds good tiretool. I hope you received the "speed cheat fix" allright via email? No one will be able to cheat on ttool's server with the fix, so we're save there. Just post the ip here or let me know over ICQ. Later.

Yeah I did Flop, I was supposed to put that file in C:\Sierra\HalfLife\Cstrike\Dlls
Correct? I could find no place else to put it. If that is incorrect, let me know! |

Ummm errr....I think it was supposed to go to the root directory of half life. The file sw.dll would just be replacing the original file sw.dll which is in the root directory of half life. The file that goes into cstrike/dlls is the mp.dll, which is just the update from 1.0 to 1.0b I think. I hope you didn't replace mp.dll with sw.dll, or did you? Or maybe I'm all wrong here...I thought you had to replace the original sw.dll in the half life folder with the new sw.dll

Hey Prader,
Can't connect to the first ip, and the second 192.x.x.x is an internal network ip so I can't connect to that unless you and me were on a LAN. Lemme know if you get it to work though. Don't know why the tool man didn't get his running..hmmm. |

I posted the second IP because when I started the internet game, it gave that as the IP address. The first IP address was obtained from winipcfg- so should be the correct on. I'll restart it and will leave it up until 4:00 EST unless someone logs on
Good luck |

Arrrg! I always catch this stuff too late. I would like to finally play some CS with some fellow PCMech people. I have been going by the name [PcM]Hellspawn for a while now. What ever happened to the whole clan thing? Anybody down for some gaming during the week, Tues/Thurs evening perhaps?
