Best PC WWII Game
Anyone have a favourite WWII for the PC? I vote for Battlefield although I used to be huge into Day of Defeat.

Call of Duty is the best 1st person shooter I have ever played! The AI is great, its fast, good graphics, and a hell of a lot of fun.
I like Ghost Recon/Raven Shield typ games the most, but COD was great! |

someone help me here OK? I am missing something with Battlfield, I played the demo, but it didn't seem to have a direction to it. It was fun. Very much fun, but like in COD or other's, you know what the objective is to get through the level. I felt like I was just running around killing in battleF. Which, again, is fun, but I get bored to easy without a goal or something.
Mayabe I didn't give it enough time. |

Over all CoD has a good single player mode. It makes you feel like ur a part of a team. The multiplayer sux tho. Too many people play it like CS. So i'd have to say the DoD is the best so far. The one hit kill and respwans keeps the action going. But I'm still waiting for a WWII game that mixes Ghost Recon with CoD.

there are no real objectives in BF1942, basicly its capture all the flags, capture the flag(get the other teams flag and bring it to yours), and a other one i cant remember thats basicly the same thing. But its awsom online, find a other game where you can drive a battle ship, aircraft carryer or sub. Or pur TNT in a car, drive it in the enemy base, run away and when someone goes in it...BOOM!

In my opinion, BF1942 was intended to be played online. The single player is aweful!!
Online however, I have NEVER played a game as good as BF, although I used to have a great time racing Nascar 2002. Im thinking of getting the newest Nascar game, but Im afraid I will be hooked on BF Vietnam to much to do any racin It wont be long until we will be Doin' it in the Jungle!!! http://www.eagames.com/official/batt...am/us/home.jsp

doesnt really have to be a war game
it can be any game at all but i think a FPS ultra realistic game would be the best and the fact that this stuff (sorta) actually happened adds to the realism of the game and i do personally enjoy shooting down nazis in a mustang

I kind of like the science fictiony twist on Secret Weapons of WWII, makes you think of what kind of weapons would be used if the war went on for another 5 years.

Medal of Honour is the best for me i realy liked the missions and they were realy hard in some places. Though the expansion packs in my view killed the game and also it doesnt have a very good online mulitiplayer.
(battlefield is the best for multiplayer) |

CoD, the tank levels were awesome, and the final level was just as great.

Call of Duty and Battlefield. I think they only included a single player in battlefield was so they could list it on the outside of the box and thus sell more copies. Multiplayer only games dont always sell. Never played DoD before, and I got sick of counterstrike. My dad's been addicted to COD, he's almost done with his second time through. Lol.

I voted Medal of Honor Allied Assault. It has excellent single player and multiplayer. I also love Call of Duty. Why didn't I vote for call of duty? Well I still play MOH but I have slowed way down on COD. MOH has lasted me over a year and a half. For some reason I don't play COD as much after several months. I played the Battlefield 1942 demo and it was awful. I guess I could buy the full game and see what all the talk is about.
