What do you mean "you hope so"? That would be yet another delay.

This game has been mentioned ad nauseatum and never delivered that I already lost the interest.

Good eye, but your date is still off, unfortunately. According to the latest news, it's not April, but summer at best.

Better than the "Vampire" game they're talking about: Spring 2005......

Speaking as a big Half-Life fan, I'm begining to notice Half-Life 2 is starting to lose it's steam to more dedicated releases like Battlefield Vietnam and Unreal Tournament 2004.

Valve has a very poor marketing plan for the Half-Life series,
I'd be suprised if HL2 is released this year!

I'd be surprised if HL2 ever get released, after all those delays, I think they have some serious problems or something, and they keep delaying the game instead of just cancelling it.

I thought HL2 was included in the ATI Radeon video cards?

Nope, just a coupon to get it for free (or at a discount) when ever it gets released.

No, you don't actually get the game, you get a coupon to get the game when it's out:

EDIT:
DragonNOA1: you beat me to it

so I've been waiting to get HL2, but I've never played the original, do you think it's still worth buying, even though the game is a few years old?

oh yes half-life one is a great game, the graphics and gameplay are still up there compared todays standards and you can probly get it very cheap in the store. and probly cheaper on ebay or a place that sells used games.
