FYI Radeon 9800 owners

It seems that people who have the game in canada and brazil are complaining about Battlefield Vietnam NOT supporting AA and AF for the 9800 card. but they say it runs fine/looks fine without it.
I think the people who are more interested in minor graphical improvements than gameplay are going to be most disapointed

and

http://www.forumplanet.com/planetbat...m.asp?fid=6341

confirm this and in the readme file that comes with the game states

ATI 9800 PRO
- Battlefield does not support some of the hardware features of the
ATI 9800. If you experience strange graphical anomalies with this card,
exit Battlefield Vietnam and bring up the display properties on your desktop.
Click on Settings -> Advanced -> 3D. In the 3D settings for
Direct3D make sure the "Use custom settings" box is not checked.
If it is, make sure the "Application Preference" checkboxes for
anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering are turned on.

Just thought id let you know as iv been seeing alot of posts about it

ATI should have drivers updated for thoses problems in a week or so. It happens with most newly released games.

Go to ATI.com, then download the new driver.
