Please check your email associated with your Earth & Beyond game account for updates and more information on what this closure means to you. We hope you've enjoyed the game as much as we have and that we'll see you again in another great EA game!

Well that's another reason why i dont play online-only games and/or that one has to give a monthly fee for. I almost bought a game called savage battle for newerth or something because the screenshots and comments looked pretty good, but i checked the site just before i wanted to go to the store and found out that it has no singleplayer at all. i dont game often, and then finding pple online is not always easy, so the game wont offer me much fun.

Actually Savage is fun, and you don't have to pay to play online, people host their own servers.

But in the case of Savage download the demo first. It has alot of maps and all of the weapons/classes available in it (plus the ability to play online on demo servers).

That's what demos are for. Download it, play it, if it's worth the money go buy it so you get the full game with all the maps and everything.

I noticed that it doesnt have monthly fee, but is there totally nothing one can do with the game when "alone" ? i would have to install it on my dad's pc since mine doesnt have internet connection (which gets used by more pple so i cant have it often) .

but it appears to be quite a good game indeed, i read several good reviews about it.
about demos, they used to be "buggy" in all sorts of ways a few years ago . i had some problems a long time ago and decided never to install a demo on my pc again.
