Is gamespy arcade any good? Should I install it for BF:V? I never trusted gamespy but this comes with the game.

I never bother with it. It doesn't do anything for me.

I wouldn’t bother installing it either, it’s a waste of space I have never once found a use for it yet

If you're willing to do what it takes to get rid of it, ie. format, try it out.
I don't use it but that's more me being resistant to marketing then any other reason.
You're conducting an experiment here, so set a system restore point and back up anything you can't afford to lose.
That Vietnam game looks like a good one so maybe they're doing their job right.

I guesse I wont try it then. They say it gives you a buddy list(dont know anyone else with the game),gives you updates(im not that lasy) and stops hackers(punkbuster already there).

They aren't that useful. Few people are on it for a lot of games, and it also is pretty complex, not worth the time IMO.

No you don't. There is an in game browser. I used to have it installed but I never used it. I have not installed it since I reformatted and I don't plan to again.

I believe that with the Mohaa 1.11 patch you can't even browse within the game without gamespy installed...

...at least I couldn't. I'd LOVE to remove gamespy and still play mohaa online if anybody knows how to do that.
