World of Warcraft Beta Test is Now Live!
Thursday, March 18, 2004
The first round of emails has gone out, and the North American and Korean World of Warcraft beta tests have officially begun. If you didn’t receive an email, don’t worry; we’ll be adding more testers at the start of each upcoming beta-test phase. Keep an eye on www.blizzard.com for news on when we’ll be opening up the additional phases, because that will be your clue to check the email account you used to sign up. Also, anyone interested in tracking the progress of the beta test can visit our World of Warcraft Community Site, which will contain regular updates as well as general information about the game.

The beta tests for certain languages in Europe and some additional languages in the Asia–Pacific regions will take place at a later date. Please stay tuned to www.blizzard.com for more information.

I didn't make it in, did anyone else make it in?

ghost2003 the monthly fee is not a big deal. I play Everquest and pay 13.99 a month but it gives endless hours of enjoyment and to me it is a bargain. Think about if you play for 40 hours a month and pay roughly 13.99 a month for the game that is only .3495 cents an hour to play per hour. The monthly fee helps pay for the cost of the server and bandwidth and also future development of the game.

I would play any other regular game just as much and pay less. Theres no point to me. I saw a pack of 5 EQ's with 30days free...it costs less than a 30 day game card. Thats a rip-off if I ever saw one.

I doubt that is true ghost2003 since the monthly fee for everquest is 13.99. They can not charge more for the game card. What you probably saw was a 90 day gamecard good for 3 months.
