spawn campers

I want to say to all you spawn campers out there, If I knew where you lived I would do the same thing to you. I have decided that me wasting 40 dollars on a game isnt fun if a bunch of score hungry pricks camp on spawn points. Thanks for listening, anybodyelse not like spawncampers please say so. I am talking about the bf1942 and bfvietnam

I don't like spawn campers either, but then they usually aren't very good players and that is the only way they can get decent scores... What I hate is the jerks who call it spawn camping when you go to cap a flag, they come in to get you, you get them, they respawn right there, you kill them again, the flag changes, and because THEY spawned there and died twice to you, they call you a camper, when all you were doing was capping a flag....

What do they expect us to do? Stand there and wait for them to shoot us?

I am talking about the ones who wait just outside the flag change,and stay the whole game.

Yeah, those guys bite....best way to handle them is to spawn somewhere else and come back for them

it feels so good to come up behind them after they have been fragging you for so long and saying "Eat This" and poppin them in the back of the head.

While not spawn campers, snipers in UT2K4 can suck and its fun to come up behind them and run them over. One guy was campin at our teams base and getting a missle lock on all vehicles leaving. He was actually up on the mountains behind the base and I saw him... zoomed in onto his hair folicules and click... "Head Shot".

worst is when they snipe. Once in BF1942 there was a sniper and noone could find him...we all dies too fast . Whats fun to do though is that when you die your camera goes twards the guy that killed you so you take cover fast and take out your knife...

a clan ran server is a good place to go if ya want to avoid that. hosts ususally kick more than public servers.

I only go in dedicated servers, that way I know it wont shutdown when im playing.

i hate spawn campers so much and i just love it when i can come around and knife the n00b in the back
there was once in DC where a sniper was in a building and i had just been shot down from my apache *tear* and i landed near there. i hear his rifle shots and i go up into the building and knife him. and THEN he goes and says IM a hacker and i'm like no i heard you gun and then he tries to BOOT ME
i hate people like that who just cant admit when someones better than them

but the campers wont survive for long when i admin on my clans server hehehe

Back when i was new at BF1942 I was killing these 2 guys over and over again. They started calling me a hacker. Its a compliment I guesse if they think the only way to that good is to hack

I dont like spawn campers either. But do you consider snipers who find hiding places in shrubs and wait for targets cheaters? On the desert level in battlefield 1942...not sure of its name...I've driven to the big plateau overlooking the enemy's base and positioned myself into a nice sniping place. Blending into the cliffs, I've sniped for half an hour before, even sneaking into their base for ammunition and trekking all the way back to my spot.

I dont get too mad at people who set up sniping spots near buildings and bases. This is done in real wars and helps reinforce how realistic battlefield 1942 can be. When people snipe, it just encourages me to find them and knife their butt. Nothing is more rewarding than sneaking up on an unsuspecting sniper and silencing him.

Its funnyer when its a normal soldier and you just follow them till the slow down, they never see it commin. I dont mind snipers as much as the ones who aim a huge machine gun at the spawn and just wait.

If you look at it in a real life situation that spawn camper is helping his team by supressing the the enemy and in most cases killing plane campers and so giving his team air Advantage. Thats for BF1942
In BFV there are no uncapturable so in that way there is no spawn camping as that person is laying down supressive fire for team mates.
i like the feeling of taking these people out as its very easy and a hasle for them as they have to go all that way again.

I think you all need to chill out. I hate spawn campers too, but it's not worth losing sleep over. If someone is spoiling it, either devise a way of continually killing them so it becomes unattractive, or tell their team-mates. In Counterstrike, when team-mates buy the Colt and camp we usually kill them ourselves. And I agree with the point about snipers... so long as they're not sitting next to a restart point, I reckon it's good luck to them for being skilled at it. Plus it makes it easy to kill them, because you know exactly where they're going to be
