So did anybody get it?

I'm not interested in the game either, Valve is trying to get more money from the HL engine, nothing more.

Has anyone here played it yet? How much different is it compared to 1.6 (in terms of gameplay, weapons, map changes and graphics)?

I doubt it's much difference. Just save your money and think about HL 2. I want to see if that game lives up to its hype...if it ever comes out.

I think they should give that free to those who have a HL2 coupon....and are still waiting for that....

I'd buy Condition Zero if it was a bargain game (like Day of Defeat is now), but $40 US? If you want to play with bots so much, why not download bots for the original Counter-Strike.

Don't buy Condition zero. I made this mistake ans was sorely disappointed. They onlything different is the missions and thats like plaing regular maps only against the computer. It has changed some of the map graphics so that there are more details and the missions have certain requirements. They only thng its good for is practicing but you can do that in 1.6 as well. I was under the impression that there was a story behind the single player but theres not. It just like playing on line only with a team that wont listen to you.

It would be awesome if Valve temporarly cancelled Condition Zero and released it a year or two later as a mod for Half-Life 2.

I would buy that game

Yeah, I agree with all the opinions expressed here. I have CZ. I reckon if they'd released it a year ago, it would be the word on everyone's lips. But now they've waited so long, it's old hat, and they really need to do up the HL engine to make it desirable. However, the graphics are good etc.

condition zero SUCKS ASS! in so many ways that's inconceivable to think that some one would like to buy it. Why? I dare to ask. Is it because someone heard a vell organize comment about full of false hope for those of us who are waiting for a kick ass game like... i don't Battle field vietnam, or HL2? Is it possible that Valve think that they can dictate what we like? Hell no! It has become a very nasty habit for game developers to change release dates! We in the gaming community should do something about it!

I say that timing is everything I agree with Jaggannath.
Valve drop the ball, perhaps if they released the game when they should had, the game would of being popular. However it takes more than just mind blowing graphics to make a great game. So did anybody get it?

I'm not interested in the game either, Valve is trying to get more money from the HL engine, nothing more.

I AGREE COMPLETELY WITH aym_7
