Quake online matches revisited

Are there still any players playing this game?

I am trying to find a game on the Internet but no luck. Anyone can help me here?

TIA

BTW, I have GLQuake 0.95. Do I have to have a specific version of Quake to play?

Funny you bring this up, were gonna start original quake LAN parties. I just found out how to get 16 players.
