No you can't do that. The online server structures are diffirent. It's like trying to put a P4 on an atholon mobo. Won't work

On the contrary, unless EA sports and M$ make up. I read somewhere that M$ agread to pay EA for their online games. So, maybe you can play, provided same game. But still must wait for that to happen.
FFXI-pc & ps2. So I don't think there is a problem.

from what i read.
ea wants to port battlefield 1942 to the xbox so its playable on xbox live.....so the 2 sides are talking.
which means games like madden, nba live, mvp would be playable on xbox live in the future......
but you know sony is trying to block that.

the game makers are taking big steps in allowing consoles and Pcs to play together online ei. NFSU, FFXI, both games are played together online . Pretty soon we'll probly have console games that you can play on the same servers.

group hug!!

Battlefield on the xbox would be awful. It would tarnish the battlefield name forever. I have xbox live and everything lags. Rainbow Six 3 lags and so does anything else you try to play (except espn football). I have a decent internet connection too, it's just that xbox live isn't anything close to being as stable or fast as some computer servers are. PC players have been at it longer and have worked out the kinks, xbox hasn't. When you read posts from people praising xbox live, it's usually those who have never played online before. They are usually pure console ethusiasts and this is their first time online---they think it's great. And it is great that consoles are online now. I dished out fifty bucks just to see what all the fuss was about. But it does need improvement, and it's getting there. Maybe Microsoft will do a better job incorporating internet play into their next console. I certainly hope so anyway.

There's no way to play online with both consoles. Maybe in the future (highly doubt it) but I can guarantee that nothing will happen with the consoles currently on the market.

Games lag more on PC than on xbox live for me. And its not me lagging, most problems are with people who have slow computers but with consoles they are all the same so the only thing that matters is the internet connection.

thats cause XBOXLive is P2P gaming. unlike PC gaming wich is hosted on servers.
