Need Help!

OK, I am not much of a gamer, but I really like Will Rock due to the numbers of things you get to kill.
The problem is that since I rebuilt my machine the game will start then the moment you fire a weapon it terminates. Everything is a clean install and my system specs are below. All drivers are latest version.
I have read that ATI's Smartgart can cause problems such as this due to the Fast Write Enabled, but I have not had time to get back to the computer to see if this will help. So I am asking what you think it might be.

Abit AN7 Motherboard
AMD XP3000 400MHZ
ATI All-In-Wonder 9600XT 128 MB
On-Board NVivida Sound
2 x 60gig Maxtor SATA drives in a RAID 0 (OS installed here)

I think I remember Will Rock being an Unreal engine game, do you get any error messages when it quits? I'm more of an nVidia guy, so I can't really help with your ATI problem.
