ok. i just built this computer and it works great no lag all that good stuff. when I play counter strike I have no problems but when I am playing BF1942 I get alot of VPU errors where I have lost response from my vid card or something like that. and now it is freezing in the middle of game play and I have to restart the computer because it never comes back? any ideas? doesnt nessecarilly happen in big battles or lots of action. and sometimes it goes a few hours, sometimes a few minutes?

Disable fastwrites, not in control panel but in bios. if ya do have recent drivers and it does that then try the older ones. also check too make sure your fan is flowing nice and ya have good airflow in the case. Not sure wich model ya have but my Sapphire fan went on it after 2 months and was causing that too. changed fan , prob went away, coincidence? not sure eheh, maybe .
good luck
