I was looking at getting Hlaf life Platinum, but I can't figure it out. Theres "Half Life Platinum Edition" then "Half Life Platinum 2nd Edition", they both appear to have the same software, so what gives?

Maybe they just want the extra money, so they add a few features

This may not relate to the exact topic.. But those Half Life bundles are sketchy IMO.... There were all these Half Life Bundles where you got Blue Shift, Half Life, Ricochet, Fireams, Counter-Strike all in one deal for like 40 bucks..But you can buy just ONE of those single games.. (i bought half life blue shift for 14 bucks) and steam with that cd key will let you download the other Half-Life Mods...

Yeah, dont buy the bundle, just buy the original Half-Life and use steam to download the other games. If you want the new Counterstrike-Condition Zero you can download it off steam as well, but you must pay around $30 for it (enter mastercard number into steam ~ not sure if I would do that personally...they might take your money to fund the "development" of Half-Life 2
)
