Your views on Galaxtic Empires

Hey,

I was wondering if it'd be worth purchasing Galaxtic Empires? How would it run on my pc with my current specs? How much is it a month? Anyone have it? And finally, is it fun? Thanks.

Read all the forum stuff in A_D's link ; that way you know what you're getting hit with ( the bounty hunters have gotten really fierce, as a noobe you want to avoid them).
I thought this game was a 'turkey' when it first started but it steadily improved.
I'm still smarting over E&B but, if I wanted another MMORPG, it would be Galaxies or Anarchy-On-Line.
Enjoy, and maybe the rest of us will eventually find the MMORPG ( acronyms were invented by the devil ) that really suits us.

I havent played it but my friend was really into it for about a month and quit because it got boring after you get the first few levels and abilities, its not rewarding enough.
