I was waiting to see if anyone would post this but I haven't seen anything. This game looks awesome. Just think of the future. I figured out the screens look so good b/c of the great character modeling. Check out some links! No release date yet and to be honest, I wouldn't worry about it for awhile, but just drool for now.
Scroll down to read the blurb and don't forget to click on the video right under the name! http://www.gamers-depot.com/events/e3/e304/004.htm Gamespot preview articles, check out the pics. http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/fear/previews.html

No kidding. I like the pic with the fat guy in it (sorry, heavy set/big boned) with all the pop cans. I actually have it as my wallpaper right now. It looks great!
Did I mention the quote from Epic's Tim Sweeney, programmer of Unreal: "Half Life 2’s got nothing on you guys." Last edited by DragonNOA1; 05-19-2004 at 07:08 AM. |

Your comment about the characters was so true... the characters are so realistic, and move so naturally, that you don't notice the lack of background details on the rooms etc.
It looks excellent, that video was good too |

WOW! It looks amazing!
The level of detail and particle effects were unreal.

Ya this came out at E3 this last week. Looks like it will also have a Physics engine like Half Life 2.
It will probably be delayed like HL2 as well. |

Well, HL2 better look like that if it wants to stand a chance.

Trust me Nuke, Half Life 2 is going to own.
Especially once the MP add ons start showing up. Like Team Fortress 2, CS 2. |

I hope. But I got very disenchanted with HL2 when I read that in the rush to get it out they were removing content and making it shorter. If there's something I hate about PC entertainment it is short games. What good is a game that has killer graphics and stunning effects if you cannot enjoy them due to its shortness?
Remember Blue Shift? Good add-on, but just when you were getting engaged in the action it ended! Even for an add-on it was outrageous. Oh well, we all wait till it gets out. And then I will wait even more for it to drop in price as well as to listen to all the opinions of the ones who bought it. Last edited by Nuclear Krusader; 05-21-2004 at 01:06 PM. |

That's exactly why I think Deus Ex is the best game of all time. Everything about it is spectacular, and it's lengthy to boot!
