Frames Per Second....how to check...

For a guy who plays alot of games on a PC, I'm embarassed to ask this noobish question.

But I MUST!!!

What is the command to check what FPS I'm getting in a particular game?

Is it a universal command or specific to each game?

Thanks in Advance.

Check the game manual as every game has different commands.

Ditto. I use FRAPS whenever I want to monitor the frame-rate in any game.

What game? It's different for different games. For example in Medal of Honor you type "fps1" in the console and in COD you type something like "cg_...." I don't remember.
