Cool UT2004 Community Bonus Pack II released

Quote:
There is a post on the Atari Community Forums that has a list of download locations for the UT2004 Community Bonus Pack 2. There are something like 20 new maps, new mutators and new character skins. The download is a hefty 191MB, but if you play a lot of UT2004 online, this is a must have.

The second volume of the pack contains 20 new maps, four new characters and two new mutators, created by some of the most talented members of the Unreal community.

Those are some boaring skins. Who actualy uses skins? I like to load the most visiable skins only that way you can see them a bit better in the dark.

Just DL'ed the zip file...can you just copy all of the maps/textures/music/etc into their respective folders in the UT2004 folder? Because the readme says to just double click on "the umod" and I see no such file or any other installation file.

I got it the other night but I've got so many maps now that I don't have time to look at the skins.

The readme was written for the .exe version of the bonus pack and you got the manual version, copy and paste away!

there is sometimes 2 ways to put in the files. most are zip files where you have to put it into right file, after you zip it open.and one called a mod which will put everything in where there supposed to go. after you open up a mod file you will see a ut file in it, usually purple looking, clic on that and it will install. if you use winzip on these files make sure it goes into the right drive where your game is.
