TV is on its last legs...
Our seven year old Proscan 27" tv is on the brink of going poof. As such its time for a replacement, using consumer reports as a reference I selected Toshiba's "32 inch slightly curved screen" 32a43 which is listed as a CR best buy, the problem I am having is that I found a 32a14 and am trying to figure out if these are the same but merely in different cabinets. Checking out Toshiba's website the only technical difference I could find is that you can adjust the color temperature on the 32a43 but not the 32a14. Now my question to you, does anyone have any experience with either of these direct view CRTs or know of any non-biased revue sites that have them directly compared? The 32a14 fits the budget at $499 canadian, where as the 32a43 does not fit the cabinet budget of 33" wide max.
