Thank goodness for LCD monitors.
At work I had a Doctor return a 22" crt loaner monitor. God, what a heavy pig. I'm glad that medical monitors have gone to lcd otherwise I would have had to install about 40 20" crt monitors. And have to move them again in August when we move the x-ray reading rooms into new areas.
My back thanks the inventors of LCD monitors.

Agreed! I recently moved my repair area from our basement to my daughter's former bedroom upstairs. She now has the entire basement as her own apartment. We both got a benefit tho cuz I don't have to haul monitors up and down the basement stairs! Carried one 20" one time and vowed to never do it again. Made the same pledge when I moved the 27" tv downstairs by myself. Not gonna happen again. Can't imagine the joy of moving several 20 inchers around repetitively. Ouch!

I needed another monitor temporarily at work to format some PCs while doing my normal work. It was nice to be able to lift up the LCD monitor with one hand! Plus, it wasn't hard to find six inches of depth on my desk.
