Free ipods...?

referrer link removed

A couple of friends have used it..thought it was a fake at first but some said it worked.

I guess it looks like it could work..I guess not impossible that they'd generate enough ad revenue to pay for the ipods themselves(browsed the faqs and it says they might even be refurbs)

I'm just wondering whether I should waste my time trying, a free ipod is never a bad thing

you have to sign up for an "online offer" ...probably costing you $250...lol...

**edit
I just tested it out.....you have to refer 5 friends, they must all complete an offer, and you must complete and offer, and supposedly you will get an ipod....if anyone else is going to do this let me know through pm, so i can refer you, so ill see if it works.

they sell your information, at least thats how it looks to me.

They sell your info to advertisers, you refer 5 more people whos info is also sold, then they they give you your "free" ipod, which they probly got at a disccounted price

Something tells me that SPAM or just excessive spyware will follow this. I'm upping my AntiVirus to scan emails, and I'm going to insert and email that I barely use . I'll let you know, icallmedan, if I should decide to do it, so you can refer me.

Ive done similar programs for a retail store I worked in. Companies do this frequently with retailers, and occasionally with the public. With retailers its usually sell X amount and with the public its usually referals.

Details like information selling are always different, but large well known companies always shipped the merchandise they owed. Since thats just a website... I wouldnt know but I wouldnt bother unless half my block was already shipped free ipods.

wait...let me see if I got this right, to get it you need 5 friend to also do sign up and do what they ask, but they cant do what they ask unless they find 5 more people but then those people need to find 5 more people and it would continue for ever so basicly it would be impossible to get the ipod.

not worried about that, im using mozilla and that blocks most spyware, and the email addy id give them would be the one i always give buisnesses and websites, so spam isnt an issue

Can't you just make some fake email addresses and use them as referals? If you could get it in the UK I would make a few fake hotmail and yahoo accounts.

the 5 people you refer have to all complete the requirments too, so they have to be legit email addys.

however i did use 4 of my own old email addys, and just completed the offers myself 4 times.

well see if this works or not

Then you make enough email addresses for that, 31 email addresses to be right I think. Wouldn't that work, although it's probably against the terms and conditions.

I just went on ebay, typed up "Free iPods" and surely enough, someone was "willing" to sell that "information" for a price...talk about capitalism . Seems like I'd need to get a few email addresses. All you would need, if I see correct, is six addresses - all of them does the offer, but one recruits the other five.

yeah ll u need is 6, you dont need to supply 5 email addys for each of your 5 referalls. you just have to make ur 5 referalls complete 1 offer, and ur set.

yep...

heres our(me and ludemaster98) plan:

we need to have 5 people(not including me) to be referred and complete an offer(requiring a credit card)...so heres what were gonna do.

step 1: i need u 2 make a NEW yahoo account(the one u gave me wont work....) and DONT sign up for the ipod thing with that account. im gonna "refer" u with that account.

step 2: we need to do that for 4 other people that are willing to use a credit card but not have it charged.

step 3: ill have the "refer 5 friends" part done, and then all i have to do is complete an offer myself.

step 4: well repeat the process for you. we have to make 5 new accounts, and repeat the other steps.

then, with the other guys, well repeat the process again.

i know it sounds complicated, but lets give it a try.

edit: any1 else wanna give it a shot?

emails:

1. Ludemaster98(andy)'s email
2.
3.
4.
5.
