What a day
Well, today I got my GCSE results (results for my end of high school exams):
Science: B English language: C English literature: C Mathematics: C Business studies: C Design technology: C German: D History: D French: E Turned out well, C's the boundary really when it comes to a good grade, so I got most of them. So, now I can go to college since I got some decent results .Also today, I go for my first day at work . Serving pies and chickens etc at the local supermarket, Morrisons. So, no results day party for me . I'm working for 5 and a half hours today, so I'll update you on how it goes later .

Don't worry about it...looks like my grades and I turned out fine. Grades are overrated IMHO. In real life, there are many jobs where we are not forced to memorize which is why I did so poorly in school. Unless I did it repeadetly or was really into it, I had a hell of time memorizing.

The grading works where A* is the highest all the way down to G, and C is the sort of equavilent of Pass. (Or worse nothing.)
Congrats on the results ric, you did well., and you are lucky, I start GCSE's in a week, and my school makes us take a whole load of compulsary ones, and I don't want to think how badly I will do in some of them. |

Well, the title says it all. That was the hardest days work i ever done, it actually hurts to type since my fingers are blistered. That was only the cleaning at the end though, had to clean the place where the chicken is on display, burning hot. But for most of the day I was serving, I was shocked since I was so new they probably didn't trust me, but they did it anyway.
It wasn't too bad, just learning to use the little console that prints out the labels to seal the bags was a little tough. I guess I'll get used to it though. Either way, I want to get out of there as soon as possible, you haven't known boring until you have worked behind a counter. So I guess this job has pushed me into looking for a computer related job, not bad. (P.S if you are in the UK and have the latest issue of PC Extreme, check the feedback section. Never been in a magazine before )
