What version of IE?
Go to file > new > window, instead of clicking on the icon to open an additional window.

its IE version 6.
i found the "re-use windows for launching shortcuts" tab and unchecked it, and i still get the same problem. and using ctrl + n or file>new>window does not work either. i will also mention that this computer has norton antivirus 2003 on it, could that possibly be constricting internet explorer use? |
