I turned in my notice today.

Well I found a new job after getting informed about a month ago of possible layoffs mid sept. Once they gave notice I applied and have now been accepted to a new job. So I will no longer be supporting ADSL at work.

I know some of you I have contacted in private will be losing your insider and many customers that call in asking for me will be in the dark as well. I have just less then 2 weeks left and then off to my new job.

Congrats! the job market is very tough out there right now. i spent 2 years looking for a decent job and finally got it earlier this year. ever since the economy went sour alot of places that pay halfway decent have sings up saying "not accepting applications at this time". youre very fortunate Byte.

yea i was lucky, i heard up this company about 2 years ago and knew people that tried for a year before they got in the door. I was at the right time when they where hiring 30 people direct, not temp. That number as since climbed up to about 50 of which most are leaving the same job I currently have. So when I start I am going to be with allot of people that I already know.

Congrats on the new job. Sounds like you should have a pretty easy transition into the new job since you will know some of the people. Going into a new job can be scary.
