New PcMech Site Design

What is with the new site design! Looks a little more modern, but still! The best part about the home page was that you could easily scroll down and see all the news! Now you have to click a stupid link!

Let's stay away from the hidden swearing acronyms, OK? Edited by moderator.

Yeah, got it, sry

I agree.. I like the new design, although it takes a little while to load on dial up.
but I also don't like having to click an extra link to get to the news.. I enjoyed being able to read the briefs off the home page.

Go to the news page and you can still view news like you're used to.

I like it better. It loads a bit faster for me, & I always go through the news items when I can get access to broadband at a different location than my house anyway.

Ummm... I take it you haven't been around for a while? I think it changed over a month ago.

No, I changed it again last night. The main theme (header) hasn't changed, but I reorganized some things to make them easier to find, make site site more sticky, as well as make it more flexible for future items in the works.

Oh the home page. I didn't even think of that. I never go there.

I got confused when I first went there since it changed between some time I was on my Windows Machine and then I was on a Linux one and it was different... freaked me out! I tend to never spend more then 20 seconds on the first page though. Seems a little more crowded to me...
