Top 10 reasons why Im bored...

10. Ive been whatching this hurricane on the weather channel for the last 8 hrs and it hasnt moved 2 ft. but I have been updated by every weather man in the southern hemisphere about its half a centimeter movements, every 50 seconds.

9. Ive borded up no less than 3 houses and there is offically nothing else to do.

8. Everything is closed even though there are just 1 or 2 5minute rainstorms every 2 hrs.

7. We are restricted from going to the bech because the police have decided they own it, and they are going to have a bonfire.

6. My friend Gordon is a poor host.

5. Hitman 2 is a boring game.

4. Im in the miiddle of moving so I have nothing but a bed at my house so I dont want to go home.

3. I drove around for 2hrs and did nothing but follow a white kia...and find an open gas station and eat jamaican beef patties.

2. I want to go to walmart but its closed.

1. I have a poor imagination due to years of whatching TV and forgetting how to think for myself.

10. My wife and daugher are out of town (I thought that would be great too).

9. My fingers hurt from playing too much guitar.

8. It's 2:45a.m.

7. I want fast food but everything is closed.

6. C&C Generals won't install.

5. The forums are slow at this hour.

4. I'm tired of listening to music.

3. I woke up at 3 p.m., so I'll be up all night.

2. My house is clean, can't do that.

1. I beat Doom3 last night.

I'm just the opposite. Some reasons I'm Not bored:

Years of home movies I want to put to DVD.

Way too many cassettes I'd like to put to CD (lotsa stuff you can't even find anymore)

Tons of spare computer parts to make 2 - 3 "spare parts" builds.

Boxes of old paper work that I need to clean out.

Gotta clean the major junk pile behind my work shed.

The lawn needs mowed.

Boxes of photos and negitives I'd like to digitize.

Dozens of programs I haven't re-installed yet since my last upgrade.

Boxes of old magazines to go thru....

etc...

A few reasons why I'm NOT bored-

1 Wife
2 Daughter
3 Shopping with the wife and daughter
4 Job
5 Biking 120-170 miles a week
6 Yard work
7 3 Dogs

Up to 170 miles a week!! Dang! I don't even drive that many miles in a week

10. I've gone from working 60 hours a week to 30 something.

9. I've checked by blog for comments at least 5 times today.

8. I've checked all of my friends' blogs for updates at least 5 times today.

7. All of my friends are either at work or (couples only) getting in some last smooches before school starts, so no one can go to the arcade with me.

6. I've read about 6 books this week and don't feel like reading more.

5. Last night I finally mastered all of the functions on my new phone, and there's no more playing to be done with it.

4. See #6 but change books to movies.

3. There's so little to do I can't think of any more reasons why I'm bored.

Yup well except for this last week in which I spent most of my ride time playing taxi driver until we got the wife a replacement car for the one that got totaled last Friday. I don't drive that much either unless we go out of town. Oh I've not even had time to play my few hours of doom3 this past week

The top ten reasons why I am pissed:

1. I try to withdraw $500 CAD from the teller, it gives me no money, but my bank deducts them as if it had.

2. Somebody fiddled when he should have faddled and I received no paycheck this month.

3. I meet the finest of women in an event for singles and yesterday I discover she's got a boyfriend.

4. I was starting to recover from illness and now it seems I have a respiratory infection.

5. Both my parents are sick.

6. I just had to spent $320 CAD in text books.

7. My computer is running slow as molasses. This Radeon 9600Pro is not performing as I expected. Cost of the disappointment: $200 CAD.

8. It's hella hot outside. And it's gonna be still at least three months till it starts snowing.

9. I am running out of gin and I have no more money to buy more.

10. My whole life sux big time.

Well Nuclear, I feel for you on all accounts except number 8. Here in South Texas we are knocking on 100 degrees with damn near 100% humidity. I may send you a few buck for the Gin though.....lol.

2 My fiancee is at home in the states for a year
3 I have no internet in my room
4 Cannot game online due to reason #3
5 I have a sunburn all over cause everybody said I should lay out & get a tan
6 Cannot play warcraft 3 over LAN because somebody's hub is jacked up and won't recognize
7 There's nothing to do in Hondo except:sweat, fight gnats, get robbed
8 I have 6 more months of this
