Unhappy bios set up help??!!

hi ,am building my second system,its been two years between builds so i need a refresher,at first start up in bios before loading os,can you set to load defalt settings and exit?without customizing to much?also in the first boot order is it boot from cd? then after the os is loaded and you reboot put floppy first ? i sure could use some help guys installing asus k8v se deluxe mobo and their instuctions are a little hard to get. thanks

The bios that ASUS provides with its motherboards is very easy to understand. Yes you can set and save defaults (I believe even save up to 5 different "profiles" to save as defaults). When loading the OS, set the boot order as CD, HDD. After loading, set as Floppy, HDD, CDROM (though CD will most likely never load since the HDD will load and bypass CDROM.

yes their user guide that comes with the mobo after ive read it a few times does get better, as far as the boot order goes thats what i thought it was, thanks again.
