Supercomputer being hired out for number crunching

Quote:
Need a supercomputer to do some number crunching? Peter Jackson (yes, the Lord of the Rings dude) is hiring out his special FX computers for all your supercomputer needs. Check the specs:

The supercomputer itself comprises 504 IBM blade servers, each of which contains two 2.8 Gigahertz Intel Xeon processors, 6 Gigabytes of memory and 40 Gigabytes of storage.

How much I would like to run F@H on that It must carry a hefty price tag, and apparently you can connect to it using 1 gigabyte pipes, I would love to have access to the interent via one of those as well.

Who would have thought that filming a movie would give New Zealand the opportunity to have one of the most powerful supercomputers in the world? Talk about your unintended consequences!
