USPS Test
Anyone ever take the Postal Exam to get hired? The thing is a molly whopper!!

My uncle who holds two PhD's, failed the postal exam miserably. Considering those I've delt with at the USPS, they must have gotten the short version or something, because the way my uncle described the exam, only a pure genious could pass.

What exactly is on the exam? I wouldn't think one would need to be a super genious just to work for the USPS.

the postal exam is a pattern and number matching exam. the majority of postal employees operate high speed sorting machines and have to quickly and efficiently pick out zip codes and street addresses of manually addressed mail. it is incredibly hard and demanding work as well as very stressful.

that test wasn't too bad, I couldn't bring myself to study the tables for two whole minutes, so I looked em over, missed 2 of 1-10, none of the second part. What was the rest of the test like Sarge? remember any questions you could list as samples?
