my only complaint is my walla.com email doesnt work well in firefox, its like all the buttons get disabled.

Fortunately, with the Mozilla project, you have millions of eyes looking at and improving the code daily. Were as with IE, you have a much smaller group, made up solely of MS employees to make improvements to the code. Is that going to stop everything, no. But it will help to patch any existing holes much faster than with the closed software of MS.

Intresting way of thinking.. but you could also say you have a whack load of eyes looking at IE... to break in, then its up to MS to seal it up.

Yup, firefox is getting better. Looking at my website stats, around 75% of people are using IE to access my site with around 15% using Firefox. Pretty good for an open source program.

the problem I have with Firefox is that so many of my company's web app are written for the current versions of IE and are not supported in Firefox.

I have the same problem, although fortunately the only application I have to use is our timecard system which uses VBScript. Even so, I can almost get it to work in Firefox.

i wish I could get past that. Our tools pop and say: Not supported in your browser, please launch IE or just pops up IE.
