There is an old scam that has been brought back to life. Some one will call give you a story about your familly or any thing else of interest an ask you to call them back at a 809 exchange.This is an overseas exchange. They will then bill you through your local provider for what ever they wish say$100.00 per min.They will keep you one the phone as long as possable.So be carefull.

809 is the area code (not exchange) for the Dominican Republic. If you have no reason to call there, just ignore the calls.

luisr sorry about area code and exchange. My point is they will call saying (for instance)that they have news about a family member an call this # for more info.809 looks like an 800 # and people are calling.Just an allert.
