Outlook Express - Saving Attachments
To which Forum should I direct a question about Outlook Express?
In the event it is this one... When an email arrives with an attachment and I want to save the attachment to the desktop, how can I configure OE so that each and every attachment I save always goes to the desktop? At present OE automatically wants to put the saved attachment in the "My Documents" folder. I must hit "browse" in the Save Attachments window, select a folder in the "find a folder in which to save attachments", select the "Desktop", and save the attachment. Including clicking on the paperclip to start the process, that is seven mouse clicks! There must be a better way! Many thanks! heliman

If you right click on the paperclip in the preview pane in Outlook Express and choose "save attachments" it will suggest the position you last used rather than the default document folder.
