been using firefox for awhile w/o any plugins just cuz of the build in popup blocker and i like it. try it out cuz its free! IE does display some pages better cuz of not adhereing to rules and it does display the activeX things. not always a good thing but hey whatever floats ur boat.

I've been a happy Mozilla user for a while now. In an effort to improve network security here at UCSB, Residential Networks recomends all users to permanently discontinue use of IE in favor of Firefox.

Even if you pay to upgrade to XP, you still won't be secure, so why pay? Just get Mozilla.
