What did I do wrong?

To which ever Moderator edited my sig:
I'm not complaining but I would appreciate if you could PM me and tell me what I did wrong so I dont risk doing the same thing when I fix it. For now Im going to delete everything in my sig.
I read the rules again but Im still not sure.
EDIT: I don't like to put private questions in a public thread but I don't know which moderator edited my sig. When that moderator PMs me I'll be glad to continue this convo via PM.

Sole decision on whether a signature is acceptable lies with the moderator staff. Images are allowed in signature files. Images in sigs MUST remain clean, as they will be viewable in the entire forum. Images in sigs are not allowed to be over 125 pixels high and 400 pixels wide. Failure to comply will result in a staff member editing your signature. If you restore your sig (un-do the change the moderator made) after it has been edited by a member of our staff, you will be immediately banned.

If you are going to use that sign with people's IP's on it, you should not put another image in there - especially one that exceeds the height dimension, which yours did by a considerable amount and is why I edited it.

As a heads up, there are discussions going on now amongst the staff as to whether to allow ANY signatures. We don't want to shut it completely off, but when a signature takes up more space than the rest of the post (becoming TOO common here), it's starting to make this place look tacky.
