Alternate web browsers

What other web browsers are there? I've got IE6, and it works fine, but I'd like to experiement and try other browsers. Can I have more than one browser on my computer, in case I don't like one? Can I have different browsers running at the same time? And if you all can throw me some links for other browsers, I love it!!!!!!!

You can have as many browsers as you like on your computer, and they can all run at the same time.

Almost certainly the most popular non-IE browser is Firefox. Many, many people are using it as their main browser now, because it is more secure than IE and has IMHO better features. I highly recomend it.

Opera is also popular, but I've been so satisfied with Firefox I must confess I've never tried it.

Edit: looks like I need to be a bit quicker on the uptake.

I use MIE2, which is now Maxthon by the way, and I love it. I like it better than any other browser.

Cool Firefox my choice

Been using it for couple of months now and like it better than Opera, which I used for over a year.

Using firefox 9.3 even tho they have 1.0pr version out now. Tried the new version and did not like it as well. The updated one is supposed to be more secure.

Also, believe you can opt for Netscape browser, which is a little, (how you say "bulkier than Firefox" ).

Don't like to sound out of style, but since using the Macintosh since 1994, I definately like Netscape Navigator a lot, but right now, Mozilla Firefox seems to be the best fit out there, since NN seems to have somewhat disspeared into obscurity (it's still there, not as good as it used to be, though).
