Question Display question on HDD-based MP3 players.

This is a bit of a strange question, but hopefully someone can help. I would like to purchase a hard drive based mp3 player, but I am visually impaired. That means that I have certain needs when it comes to the display on the player, or I won't be able to use it. I'm even willing to look at the portable audio/video players, like the Archos AV420 or the RCA Lyra RD2780, though I would prefer just a basic HD-based mp3 player.

Anyway, here's my issue. I need to be able to adjust the contrast, and preferrably the color as well, on whatever player I purchase. Most players have an LCD display with a light background of some sort and dark text on the screen. I need the exact opposite. I need a dark, preferrably black, background, with light, preferrably white, text/icons. These color/contrast adjustments have to affect the entire menu structure of the player, not just the photos/video of an A/V jukebox.

To give you an idea, hopefully, I currently on a Frontier Labs NEX iie compact flash based mp3 player. With one of their firmware upgrades, I'm able to adjust the contrast, and, because of that, I can use the player adequately. If I can adjust the color/contrast, I can handle a small display, though, of course, I'd prefer a larger one, maybe 2.5 inches by 2.5 inches or so.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I should purchase that would give me this capability? Would greatly appreciate any help anyone can offer.

Many Thanks,
Voriel

Is this what you are looking for?:

If the link doesn't work, this is what I'm talking about:

Its the HDD120, from Philips. 20GB storage capacity, but I'm not sure what its like. You could try tracking down some reviews.

I believe you can invert the the screen on the Creative Zen Extra but I am not sure. I thought I read it somewhere in a review.

Ric449: Wow, thanks! From what I could see online, yeah, I think that is exactly what I was looking for! Many thanks!

And, if anyone has any others that they think might work, I'd definitely appreciate you mentioning them. After all, a girl does love options. *GRIN*
