quotes

first let me apologise, i accidently posted this question on a thread started by jimmyrules on old record player needed. i thought i had punched "new thread" but evidently i used post reply instead, anyway the question was--when i use the quick reply i always get the quote attached to the reply, sometime back i did use quote and every since it automatically comes upon the reply, it is not checked in the box. i tried checking it answering , then unchecking and answering all to no avail .has this happened to anyone else and how did you fix it? just unchecking did not work. it's not a big deal just annoying because i cant fix it.

Same thing is happening with me. Along with the "Quick Links" tab not working. Firefox 1.0.

It doesn't happen to me. I'm using Maxthon. What browser are you using?

ok i just noticed, ----the quick reply message board (which is usually blue with a message to click the link to reply)----isnt blued out whith that message -it's just ready for a message, if i click the icon with the pen and paper then i get the quote thing, if i just start writing it's ok. ALSO like Zeratuls said my quick links tab dosen't work. i use firefox 1.0 BUT i checked on my other computer with firefox 1.0 and it works correctly, quick link works fine on that one.

Have you tried cleaning the cache? It usually solved odd problems for me. Since I started using Maxthon I set it to clean the cache on exit so it isn't a problem anymore.
