My first build

I have just completed my first build and everything is great!!
But I do have a nagging problem that I can't seem to fix. When I turn on the computer a screen pops up and shows me what is installed on the pc as far as hardware and in order for me to get to my desktop I have to hit the f1 button.I've read my mobo manual several times now and can't see how to fix this. Can someone please help a newbie out? Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas to all!!!

What are the complete system specs by brand and model?

What OS are you using?

List all the background programs you have running.

Go into the bios (setup), then save settings and exit.

When you say background programs i'm assuming you mean firewalls and the like , I have none running at the moment. but my specs are:
1.3.2 p4
2.msi mobo w/865 chipset
3.1 gig of mem (corsair) dual channel
4.160gig hd maxtor
5.windows xp home sp2
I tried the save and exit but it didn't work

I finally figured it out.Within my bios I have a "Advanced Chipset Feature".Inside it is an "on-chip VGA setting".Inside there it gives me the option to choose the display I want to boot up on.
1.Auto
2.Crt
3.Tv
4.Efp (lcd)
Efp being the correct setting for me did the trick!!!! Thanks alot and Happy Holidays!!!
