Texas Instruments Extensa 600CD Laptop.
the problem is it has a bios level password protect and i do not know the password.... my first assumption is to try to Flash the bios (i've never done this so any detailed instructions would greatly appreciated). any help or better suggestions on what i should do about this?????? thanks |

Flashing the BIOS may or may not work, probably not. Check with TI to see if there is a backdoor into the BIOS. The only other option is to try removing the CMOS battery for a few minutes. This generally resets the BIOS.

Acer bought the TI laptop division several years a go...try them 1st...
