I wonder if that has anything to do with the recent story about how an odor can make people more trusting. Maybe some odors make people impatient?

Interesting. How about odor's that make people more alert while driving? That's what we really need.

"This is why the smell of perfume can turn men into gibbering idiots"

I hardly think the smell of purfume would ever turn me into a babbling idiot... now place that purfume on the prettiest woman in the world and watch me become totally incoherent... thats a different story

Yea, how bout a series of sensors all around your car. Then when you get too close to the car in front of you or beside you, a gloved hand pops out of the dash and slaps you in the face while a deep voice yells over your car speaker "WAKE UP!" I know some people I'd like to install that for.

Reminds me of that bumper sticker that says "I want to die peacefully in my sleep like grandpa. Not screaming in terror like the passengers in his car"

I have had smells bring back memories but never alter my mood.
