What to do next....??
Hi My Names Matt im new to the forums but have visited before. Iv just finished my 2 year BTEC National Diploma For Computing Practitioners Networking strand, at North West Kent College in England. I have experience with repairing and building computers as i have worked in a small highstreet PC shop for 2 years now.
I just looking for some career advice really and was wondering how all you guys got into the I.T industry, im looking to get into the support/network side of things as this is what my course was based around, iv done no industry qualifications i.e. A+ Network + although i could prob take the A+ test with the knowledge i have already. I need advice on what to do next whether to get me foot in the door somewhere or go get some extra qualifications?? I have applied for various entry level support roles but have had no come back. Just wondering if anyone had any advice for me?? Many Thanks Matt |

Maybe take a look at a hospital setting. With hospitals going towards electronic records, imaging, patient monitoring, etc the networking and computer needs have gone up.
