I think that "chicks" who are attracted to that sort of thing (fancy sports cars) are probably the kind of women I wouldn't want to get to know anyway. They're either too materialistic or too dizzy...or both. And probably as intelligent and interesting as an eraser.

No kidding. I drive a 1998 Saturn because of its gas mileage and it was a good value. And that's when I'm not riding the bus, which I do most of the time because my wife and I only have the one car.

People who are attracked to flashy things are also going to be attracted to the next flashy thing that comes along. I'll leave the flashy moving shiny metal objects to the birds and stick with being practical. It keeps my insurance rates lower.

I spent a little over 1000 on this computer, and I don't have a fancy schmancy case. It's not the good ol' plain beige (it's black with a bit of silver). The case to me (like many others) is just the box to put all the goodies in. And I don't care that its not flashy, and I highly doubt other people who see my computer really care either. Heck, most of my friends aren't all that good with computers, so they're just impressed that I built it.

guess everyone is different. cricket and doctorgonzo I understand what you mean so hide the computer until the 3rd-5th date and if she runs away from it you know it wasn't meant to be, but that probably also means she needs therapy because no one runs because of a computer unless it has fire shooting from it and stuff.

Doesn't apply to me, I've been married 22 years.

Generally....superficial people and fish are attracted to flashy metal things. The fish you can trust.

I agree and my wife of 10 years loves her black $50 Enlight case and she thinks my three Antec cases and beige Enlight case are alright but she knows it's what's inside that counts.

hahaha good call

I have a poopy beige case, I don't give a fat rats, I look at my monitor when I'm on the computer, not my case

If they installed a screen onto the case, then it might be a different story. But it's not, too bad so sad

Sorry, it's already been done. There's some prior art there that prevents your copyright from going through.

Yup, sorry Lamilia, when I thought of that idea above I already checked online if it had been done. And, like everything on Earth, it has been

Yeah, she don't look nekkid to me either. Looks like swimwear or underwear. Maybe you should check your monitor or video card settings.

Definitely not naked.

What about a 17"+ size monitor on the side of the case? That would be a good LAN machine because you wouldn't have to carry around a separate monitor. It's probably not too hard. I've had my monitor apart a couple of times, and if you found a way to mount it, it could easily be done.

I can see the headlines now..."Women leaves man because of Ugly Comptuer Case"

Who can remark about my taste. I thought that the flashy Thermaltake Case looked great and opted for a cheaper but sturdy Aspire case.

EDIT: ...eh, there's a second page.

I'm pretty sure Maximum PC had a Rig of the Month that had one of those, but I can't find it on the internets.
