I scored some music!
Been lookin for one particular album/cd for many years and finally found it today at a local disc shop. Probably won't mean much to the younger crowd and it's a bit obscure for even the older bunch. It's a single CD with both albums made in a 1988 jam session called Traveling Wilburys. Some legal hassles have kept additional copies from being released. I had Vol 1 but wanted Vol 3 (there is no Vol 2). This was just a one time gathering of some really special musicians: Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, George Harrison, Roy Orbison, and Jeff Lynne (ELO). I'm sure most music fans are aware that Roy Orbison died of a heart attack at 52 soon after this collaboration. Geoge Harrison succumbed to cancer in 2001. I just sittin here enjoying these special guys and smilin'!

It's an amazing album! I got it from Amazon a while back, it's available on amazon (again?). You're right about vol 2 though, it's a ripoff .. even though the name is similar. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...023176-1495850

Yea, Vol 2 and 4 1/2 are somebody's compilations and a true ripoff. 1 & 3 are the only originals. The CD I scored includes 1, 3 and 3 previously unreleased cuts. Hearing those guys do Del Shannon's Runaway is a bit bizarre!

If i found a record that rare and hard to find... i wouldnt even open it because i would know someday those would be worth a lot.. if they cant be produced anymore.
