What type of phone do you have, I am not to familiar with this technology, but did it come with a cable thatt possibly could connect to the Pc? where your phone would show up as a device and you could acess the photos from it.

Thats right, it depends on your cell phone, a lot of phones (esp ones with cameras) have external memory which can be removed out and used as a removable storage on your computer; yet others have Infrared or even Bluetooth which make it convenient to transfer the pix out without having ot resort to MMS/EMS of your cell phone providers.

You will need an infrared capabilities on your PC to get it to work (most laptops have it built in)
Check out http://product.samsung.com/cgi-bin/n...elTab=Features for Samsung's product page - and read the manual on how to use IR to connect to your PC (the manual is: http://www.samsungtelecom.com/pdf/d415.pdf)

You can also transfer the pix to another cell that has IR as well.

Just turn on the feature on your laptop for IR, and allow notification on status bar when IR devices come in range. Also turn on "Allow/Send or receive of files". It should be in the Wireless Link applet in the Control Panel of XP. Then turn on your phone IR and bring it into range.
