Two Programs That *Should* Exist

I have been looking for a couple of program that I think *have* to be out there... but I have yet to find them. Maybe one of you have seen them around on a download site?

The first one I saw around 1990 on a Mac. It was a moving "Start Vortex" Or "Star Drain" Instead of the trash can there was a circular star field. And the stars were in a whirlpool form and were being drawn down into the center. It is always in motion, and was a cool effect. Anyone seen anything like this for Windows.

The second program I have been looking for is an "Intelligent notepad". If you have seen Answer Pad you get the idea. With Answer Pad you can write plain text math problems or even ask "How many hours in 40 days?" And it will answer. You can tell it " Steve's number is 555 1212" and later ask it Steve's number and be told "555-1212" Just wonder if anyone knew of a similar program that was a little more extensive.

I guess if you had enough time, you could program the second program if you wanted and couldnt find it online. I know what you mean though, there was like a computer AIM guy that would chat like that to you lol.
